Loren: Big Guns, Young Kids

More February Vogue goodness. January Vogue proved to still be better than other fashion magazines in terms of width and advertising pages, but they must be playing it safe by putting in one photo spread by Mario Testino and the one above by Steven Meisel. Nothing draws fashion bugs in like two great photographers doing amazing spreads in one magazine. I'm impressed, but naturally, with my impressed face comes the cynical routine.

Hah! Even The Great Wintour is worried about the recession and with all the fierce rumours of her quitting/getting ousted, even she is going the extra mile to make sure the issues sell.

For Karlie Kloss, Viktoriya Sosonkina and Katrin Thormann it is their debut appearance in the magazine and it looks pretty risqué for 16 year old Karlie. After all, she barely just made it over the "all models must be at least 16" rule here. Still, expect some hoo-hah over the suggestive nudity in the photo. Well, at least only from Down Under.
